Specifically, the article leveraged primary survey data to show that while 90% of respondents indicate their firms will increase GenAI investment over the next five years, only 25% trust the technology for legal work—citing concerns about trustworthiness, quality of current solutions, and the fear of hallucinated content as the biggest hurdles to adoption. On the corporate side, concerns included sensitivities to compromised legal matters, data used to train core AI models, or privileged information falling into a competitor's or opposing counsel's hands.
