He played a key role in conceptualizing and developing Verbit Legal Visor, a real-time intelligence platform for litigators that enhances legal professionals' efficiency with AI-powered insights, including inconsistency detection, intelligent search, and summaries to help secure better case outcomes. INTELLIGENT SEARCH Unlike traditional keyword-based searches, AI employs semantic and generative querying to deliver deeper, context-aware insights. The technology can also cross- reference related case materials, identify connections between statements, and surface relevant precedents that might otherwise go unnoticed. ADMISSION TRACKING In depositions, filings, or trial testimony, admissions made by opposing parties can be essential pieces of evidence. AI can track, catalog, and highlight admissions, ensuring no key statement goes unnoticed. LEGAL RESEARCH AND CASE PRECEDENTS Beyond trial preparation, AI can play a role in legal research. Whereas traditional research requires lawyers to pore through mountains of case files to find relevant precedents, AI-driven research tools can perform near-instant case law analysis, identifying precedents that best support an attorney's argument. Technology can analyze court decisions and predict possible outcomes based on historical rulings, provide case recommendations based on new filings and evidence, and, in some instances, identify judicial tendencies to help attorneys tailor arguments to specific judges. A COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGE For legal professionals, AI is not just about doing things faster – it is about doing them smarter. It has become an essential competitive advantage, equipping attorneys with the necessary data-driven insights. The US Legal Support survey found that AI adoption is progressing at a measured pace in the legal field, with nearly half of firms (49%) expecting AI to become mainstream in the legal field within the next three to five years. It also showed that law firms are making deliberate investments in technology, with 60% of firms noting data management and retention strategies as their top digital transformation priority, while more than 40% are investing in document review and eDiscovery platforms and prioritizing legal management software. AI's role in courtroom strategy will only grow as it evolves. Legal professionals who embrace AI's capabilities will be better positioned to navigate complex cases, outmaneuver opposing counsel, and deliver more substantial client outcomes.
