ILTA'S 2024 DE+I CLIMATE SURVEY REPORT ILTANET.ORG/DEI 14 Comparison with the 2020 Climate Survey Results When reviewed on the whole, the quantitative analysis reflects similar results between the years. Overall, participants indicated a positive perception of their direct experiences within ILTA as it relates to DEI. When comparing the results when considering difference segments of the sample based on demographic information, no one segment expressed any responses significantly different than the overall sample. So, no one demographic felt more or less positive about their experiences within ILTA. Where we did see a shift or change in the results, which is discussed above, relates to the negative sentiment expressed in participants' comments related to DEI efforts and their relevance to ILTA. These comments are not necessarily surprising considering the current climate and appetite for DEI efforts within industry predominantly seen in the United States, 84% of the respondents. Though DEI has had its challenges over the years, globally incremental changes are being seen which is reassuring. Conclusion The climate survey provided valuable insights into the experiences and perspectives of ILTA members regarding DEI within the organization. The analysis identified areas of strength and opportunities for improvement, and the feedback provided by survey respondents will be used to inform and guide our ongoing DEI efforts. One of the strategic goals for ILTA relates to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the ILTA community. In order to do that effectively, the organization will continue to strive to improve the culture and climate to support and meet the needs of all members. About ILTA's DE+I Initiative ILTA understands the myriad opportunities to improve and enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion exist throughout the ILTA community.
