It was wonderful to see so many of you in person and be able to talk, network, and learn with you at LegalSEC Summit 2022. We had a wonderful committee this year, consisting of the co-chairs Tashfin Wahid and Gary Berger, Peter Buck, Colleen Gifford, Ken Jones, John Keese, Chris Kinnon, Skip Lohmeyer, Mark Manoukian, Pernell Regulus, Manuel Sanchez, Rebecca Sattin, Joshua Smith, Jim Turner, and Mike Williams. They recruited dozens of amazing speakers, and we appreciate every single member of the team and each one of the talented and knowledgeable speakers! It truly takes a village to run a conference like this and we would be remiss if we did not thank the ILTA staff that worked on this conference—those who were in-person and those who worked behind the scenes offsite to make everything come together. We would also like to thank our business partners who sponsored the conference; they were not only appreciated for their sponsorship, but they also provided valuable insights and conversations. Our conference week started on Monday, October 10 with registration and two workshops: a DISC Personality workshop by the engaging Marcia Stokes and a "Backdoors and Breaches" session led by members of our committee. We had an great networking event that evening and got to know some of our peers and learned about various business partner offerings at their booths. On Tuesday, Kenya Parrish-Dixon kicked off our educational tracks with a keynote address called, "Out of Chaos, Opportunity". It was definitely a message we can identify with after the events of the past few years. Our educational day was filled with 14 sessions throughout the day followed by another networking reception on Tuesday evening. Wednesday started with a wonderful Women Who Lead breakfast with a conversation led by Michele Gossmeyer and Rebecca Sattin. The rest of the day brought over a dozen more educational sessions and a wrap-up followed by goodbyes (or, hopefully, "See you next May" instead of "Goodbye"). by Tashfin Wahid, Gary Berger and Joshua Smith
