3 I L T A N E T . O R G F R O M T H E E D I T O R When we last spoke, we were heading to ILTACON; we were going back in person, for the first time in two years. And now, back from Conference for a just over a month, and more vividly able to appreciate the complexity of coming back all together, I sat down to write this letter with a profound sense of gratitude. You all helped us put on a wonderful show: our third largest conference ever for ILTA, with over 3,000 people in attendance. The energy onsite was electric: after years of professional conferences, this ILTACON felt special: it was special. I hope this is our new normal. And, moreover, this issue of Peer to Peer feels like another, larger return to normalcy. With over a dozen articles, over two dozen videos, plus columns and features that showcase the very best of ILTA, of our members and partners. We have information on upcoming Socials and conferences: we are offering new and engaging ways for ILTAns to connect with other ILTANs. I hope you will join us onsite at LegalSEC Summit or ILTACON Europe. ILTA has always been about being peer-powered. We saw this onsite, at ILTACON and I've seen it in person at our holiday socials. And I have seen it more and more over the last few months in our digital Communities; people are connecting, eager to see and speak with their colleagues and connect over a handshake or a hug. With shorter Fall days around the corner, and with more amazing content in hand, I hope you will settle into this issue and find practical information that will help you and your firm move into the Golden Age of Technology. If the pandemic work situation has taught us anything, it's that the old guard needs a hand from the new guard and that the new guard should approach technology, and people, in new and engaging ways.
