A n event as large as ILTACON takes the ILTACON conference committee nearly a year to plan. This committee is responsible for planning and running ILTACON. It's comprised of ILTA staff, volunteer members from legal organizations, and business partners. The 2022 conference committee and our speakers had a balance of experience and new faces. This diversity contributed to the quality of the educational sessions. It proves what we've all been hearing lately – diverse teams with diverse voices deliver the best results! Heartfelt thank you to the ILTA staff, speakers and all our volunteers (ILTA members + business partners) for your teamwork, dedication, thought leadership and adaptability to do what was needed to deliver ILTACON 2022. You are all superheroes to us! You made our jobs as co-chairs fun, and very rewarding. It's been an honor and pleasure working with you. To learn who comprised this team, visit: https://www.iltacon.org/about/conference-committee. Finally, thank you to everyone who attended. Without your attendance, they'd be no ILTACON. Favorite Moments Scott: There are so many great moments. I'm going to just highlight three. • My backstage time before Justice Tanya R. Kennedy delivered the Wednesday keynote. I had about 15 minutes to chat with her about a variety of topics. This confirmed what I had suspected before, her keynote was going to blow-away the audience. It was such a privilege to get to know her at ILTACON this year. • A security session I attended. Our volunteer session coordinator had unfortunately just broke his leg the weekend before conference. It took a doctor's clearance on the Monday of conference for him to get permission to fly in. When I heard he made it onsite despite those massive challenges, I knew I had to get to his session. I knew he was bringing in some interesting speakers outside of legal, but I didn't realize until I was in the session the stories I would hear. One described the work done to revamp our national response to natural disasters after hurricane Katrina. Another detailed the activities in by Marth Breil, Scott David and Rodney Mullins
