WWL will be profiling four new women leaders in Peer to Peer, one profile in each of the next four issues. WWL will also do an interview with them as part of our podcast series throughout the next year, so stay tuned! What led you to your career? Was there a defining moment? I practiced law for almost 7 years but I often liked the project management or numbers side of large litigations better than litigating. Eventually I moved into more of the project management and legal operations side of legal. I was also developing my technical skills on my own: learning SQL, R and PowerBI. In 2018, ALAS was preparing to build out their data capabilities at the same time that I enrolled in the University of Chicago's Master of Data Science program. So I stepped in to lead that initiative at the same time while enhancing my own data science skill set. What are you most proud of accomplishing? Building out a full-cycle data analytics program at ALAS from the ground up.
