51 I L T A N E T . O R G approach targeting specific areas of improvement can and will drive a faster pace of change. New initiatives such as developing technologies to assist legal professionals and their clients, fostering diverse talent by providing mentorships, scholarships and internships, and creating organizational policies that engage people from diverse backgrounds in technology development will go a long way to winning the battle against bias. Eliminating systemic racism in the legal industry will require multiple changes across the entire system. High schools, law schools, law firms and technology developers must all recognize that investment in diverse individuals cannot be a one-time, feel-good donation. It requires a commitment that spans years and extends across the entire spectrum of legal practice. Small adjustments, training, technology and collaboration have the combined power to take down the barriers that prop up systemic racism once and for all. ILTA ILTA has partnered with Shy Alter of ii3, to create an ongoing series of video interviews with ILTAns, technologists, and legal-tangential guests. These engaging, short interviews, hosted via YouTube, showcase new perspectives and topics vital to our ever-changing world. This series, entitled LawFirmWeekly, is a firm management focused news media outlet. Our joint mandate is to create relevant, compelling and instructive - expert driven rich media programming. We produce weekly interview and editorial video programs that are delivered through Youtube and podcast platforms.
