74 P E E R T O P E E R : I L T A ' S Q U A R T E R L Y M A G A Z I N E | W I N T E R 2 0 2 0 M E M B E R R E S O U R C E S Out with the old and in with the … kind of new?!! 2020 will go down in history as a year of unusual events, from murder hornets, Australian fires, celebrity deaths, toilet paper shortages, and a Covid-19 pandemic that seems to be hanging on with all it has… And if you weren't in the bingo or the Las Vegas gambling pools for what was next during the pandemic, then you were probably in the minority. Good thing is 2020 is almost in the rearview mirror and we can take a look ahead at all the possibilities, use our recently gained pivoting knowledge, and move forward. So what is ILTA 2021 shaping into? Glad you asked. We took a look at the year, our learnings, our opportunities, and working with the PPC have a lineup of a little naughty and nice. Let's talk ILTA TV… in the past ILTA TV has been reserved for ILTACON. We've expanded this to include all the months with some really great streaming shows, designed just for you. On Mondays and Fridays, you can tune into ILTA NEWS, on the 4th Tuesday of the month we will host a 15 in 15, where business partners will bring to you 15 great tools in just 15 mins. On the first Wednesday of each Dawn Hudgins VP of Service Delivery ILTA month, we present ILTA NOW, where three questions will be asked of our membership on present issues facing our membership. On the third Thursday of the month Tea with Me will broadcast with interviews from the ILTA community on leadership. And lastly, on the 4thMonday of every month we will broadcast #Soyouwanttobea …. A segment designed to discuss particular roles within the legal technology and the path those in those roles have taken to get to where they are. What do ILTA events look like for 2021? We have plenty of 'streaming events' between January and July of 2021. As for ILTACON, we've been working together with Mandalay Bay staff and the governing bodies of Las Vegas as we plan a safe hybrid event for August. There will be many changes as we navigate the codes of COVID, but we have great creative minds that have come together to plan for a successful event. The Women Who Lead will be bringing to you a Streaming Roadshow beginning January 28th, taking a stop in New Orleans including sights and sounds of the area and continuing on to three other stops along their journey in 2021. For the DEITF, you do not want to miss the February event! We'll deliver an engaging, interactive workshop on topics such as facing bias and aligning DEI efforts with organizational goals. Stay tuned for registration information. Although 2020 has been unusual, we are looking forward to the new opportunities 2021 will bring in nice bite sized pieces, for you to grow on the go.
