IDENTIFYING OR REMOVING DUPLICATES Excel really makes identifying duplicate values easy with Conditional Formatting. Select the area where you want to identify duplicates and on the Home tab, select the Conditional Formatting tool: Then use the Highlight Cells Rules and Duplicate Values… tools under the Home tab:
