Instead of spending hours renaming each document – you can use a bulk renaming tool. With Bulk Rename Utility, adding prefixes, suffixes, numbers, delimiters, and more on several files is a snap. Once the options are set, you can make your changes at once on multiple files. In the below example, the current date was added, the original prefix removed, and the files were renumbered to add with three-digit padding. This is incredibly useful when attempting to sort files into a particular order – consistent file naming is key: Other options such as find/replace, regular expressions, add folder name to the file name, copy/move file to new location, as well as many others : This tool changes the File Explorer game.
