Double-click on the symbol when it appears: The formula will appear, and you are ready to enter your values: lookup_value Common value for the document in both lists - in this case, the DocID. To lock the value of the range and make it an absolute value, the $ symbol has been added to the formula. This way when the formula is copied down to other cells, the range will not be modified. table_array Vector to look in. In this case the additional information is in the sheet named Coding and the information is located in cells A2 through E11. col_index_num The column number of the information to be added.
