3 I L T A N E T . O R G Q&A Where do you see the #creatingthefuture movement being most innovative within ILTA? James McKenna: In my career, there has never been a time where an open mind was more valuable. "How will we solve this problem?" is something we all do each and every day. #creatingthefuture is an excellent way to explore new ideas by creating things together. Ginevra Saylor: Developing even better ways to collaborate with our clients to deliver better services to them, and within our organizations to provide better work-life balance to our people. Chris Hunt: As an industry, we have reached a point where real change is now possible. The investment in technology, and the investment in adoption of that technology, has been critically important in enabling an entirely new model for most of us. #creatingthefuture to me is now how do we maintain and carry the momentum and progress forward, and use this as an opportunity to truly rethink and rebuild the workflows and processes in our organizations. Angela Dowd: In these uncertain times, technology has been thrust into the spotlight as a crucial element. People are open to different ways of doing things and this is a great opportunity to find better ways to connect both internally and externally. Jack Thompson: With consistent and unexpected circumstances environmental changes, it is important for adaptive minds to lead for the future and pave a pathway for others to follow. Peers networking through ILTA gain ideas from those who are going first and trying new things. Where clients are most interested are how they are remaining with firms who adapt to their needs as well as learn from their clients. Kara Portwood: One of the most powerful aspects of ILTA is our peers. Having the ability to collaborate and brainstorms with some of the brightest technology professionals in the legal industry is priceless. Times have truly changed in our industry this year. Creating the future will certainly help us navigate through some of the uncertainty that is ahead. Chris Boyd: Identifying and expanding ways to combine technology with roles and processes to deliver more value to external and internal clients. Joy Heath Rush: Helping our community recognize that their knowledge of technology and expertise in change management position them perfectly to move their organizations forward as well as responding to immediate, imperative needs.
