45 I L T A N E T . O R G M ore than 2,100 attendees from 25 different countries joined us for ILTA>ON in August 2020 – 1,128 of them were first-time attendees! They learned the latest in KM, Marketing, Information Governance, Finance, and more during ILTA's first 5-day, all-virtual conference. To say the least, we could not be happier with the educational content delivered, the commitment to making new connections, and the sense of community everyone felt during the sessions and in the Watercooler Chats) Like the news coverage mentioned, it was all due to our amazing ILTA Community; the hard work of the planning committee, the support of our business partners, the expertise of our speakers, the engagement of our attendees, and the tireless effort of our ILTA staff. We were able to reach members around the world at times convenient to them without incurring the travel costs. Firms were able to send multiple attendees, where in the past they could only send one or two to ILTACON. I was able to view some of the project management sessions and learned skills I can immediately implement to be a better meeting planner. Overall, I'm incredibly proud of the entire ILTA community for making ILTA>ON such a success." Denise Ash, Education Coordinator "ILTA>ON was a huge success from my end. I sat through several sessions and they were all so good, it's difficult to pick a favorite. I did love the professional development sessions because they were on topics that everyone could benefit from. The session on Emotional Intelligence was jam-packed with information that I'm still trying to process! Spark Talks - Back to the Future (on Friday) was wonderful — it was filled with some great statistics about what we thought the future would be like and what it really is; the speaker (Joseph Raczynski from Thomson Reuters) was funny and informative and kept my attention on Friday afternoon, which was a major feat!"
