and resources were available to help the legal community navigate these
uncharted times. We have seen the community create a series of checklists,
blogs, podcasts, webinars, and virtual local meetings on all their pandemic
efforts. Our Business Partners have provided links to their COVID Resource
Centers. We have pulled it all together in one place on our website. Located
under the Resources Menu -> Areas of Knowledge, we now have a landing
page rich with COVID-19 content addressing many of the questions faced
by law firms: https://www.iltanet.org/resources/areas-of-knowledge/
covid-19. In addition, any of the content on our site which has been tagged
with #COVID-19 can easily be found here: https://www.iltanet.org/

As we all venture forward into uncharted territory – we saw a need
arise to create a new future focused online community. One that will take the
conversations beyond the very relevant discussions in our Disaster Recovery
and Business Continuity community. A place for us all to collaborate and
shape the future. We call this new community: #CreatingTheFutureTogether.
This community is open to all ILTAns across the globe. If you would like to
help shape how the legal community frames big picture topics, help peers
progress in their careers, and make meaningful connections along the way, I
encourage you to visit and join this new online community.
The community has already scheduled a series of Friday bi-weekly
roundtables entitled "There are No Experts". The prior week's top voted
question in the discussion forum will be the subject of the next roundtable.
Have a critical issue you would like to see discussed? Join the community and
post it in the discussion forum.
New micro-volunteering opportunities are also developing called "Teach
a Skill/Learn A Skill." Community members are encouraged to post what
skills they are willing to teach as well as what skills they would be interested
in learning. Have more questions? Reach out to us at ctft@iltanet.org.
Until the next time – stay safe and stay healthy! ILTA

ILTA recently issued the following press release
on June 3 which I feel is worth reprinting here.
We are living in a world of fear and anger right
now. ILTA intends to be part of the solution.
ILTA fully supports our members, partners, and
colleagues who unite firmly and non-violently
against hatred and intolerance. Our core values
proudly affirm our commitment to mutual respect
and diversity and inclusion; our behavior
demonstrates our dedication to mutual respect and
diversity and inclusion.
ILTA is and always has been a safe place for
education and peer support, operating in an
environment that cherishes the free exchange of
ideas.
For ILTAns who wish to have a focused
conversation around diversity and inclusion, we
are now offering an open forum dedicated to
Diversity & Inclusion on the ILTA Communities
of Interest platform. We want our actions to speak
louder than words and both lead and support
positive change." ILTA
