GETTING GROUNDED IN
CLOUD E-DISCOVERY
in today's version and on the product roadmap. Compare that to what else
is on the market and to what you have today. Get the best set of tools that
works for your firm and your users.
Caroline: It's important to note moving to the cloud covers much more
than just the e-discovery review piece. It's the processing piece and how
I'm tracking the media I receive, the custodian data I have and how I'm
processing it into the platform. It's all the capabilities around the review
functionality. It also includes how I'm able to generate and manage
production. It's how my attorneys and my legal teams are going to be able to
work within the platform post-review. Whatever SaaS platform we're looking
at, it has to have that full range of capabilities.
Joel: I agree, Caroline. E-discovery's SaaS requires a different set of tools
compared to other business processes in the enterprise. When assessing
SaaS solutions, you must look at the whole tool kit used to support the endto-end e-discovery process.
