She is a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Task Force of ILTA. She has worked in legal technolo for 20 years and has extensive expertise in facilitating individual, virtual and classroom sessions. She was instrumental in redesigning the New Hire Orientation at the firm and enjoys working with people. Away from the office she loves to travel, great food, design and living by the ocean. R E A D R O B I N ' S S T O R Y Ginevra Saylor is National Director, Innovation and Knowledge Programs for Gowling WLG LLP, where she leads the firm's innovation, knowledge management, learning and development, legal project management, client and practice solutions, and process re-engineering strategy to enhance delivery of client services. She brings to her role over two decades' experience designing and delivering strategies for innovation, knowledge management, client solutions, technology adoption, and process improvement. A member of Gowling WLG's National Diversity and Inclusion Council, Ginevra also Chairs the council's Programs Working Group. She serves as Executive Vice President of ILTA's Board of Directors and a member of ILTA's Diversity and Inclusion Task Force. R E A D G I N E V R A ' S S T O R Y Debbie Ting is the Senior Manager, KM Transactional Technologies at Goodwin. She is an experienced leader, knowledge systems engineer, product manager and lawyer whose focus is on how innovation, knowledge management, process improvement, technology, data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning and UI/UX can be used in strategic and creative ways at law firms or for in-house legal departments. She is also a valued, long-time ILTA volunteer and author. R E A D D E B B I E ' S S T O R Y unconscious bias in our work relationships and environments? As a start, each of us can make a real impact by: • acknowledging that we have unconscious biases, • honestly taking stock of what our personal unconscious biases are (maybe even writing them down so they are not forgotten), • understanding how these personal unconscious biases operate in our work decisions, actions, and relationships, • developing personal strategies for controlling them, and • encouraging our colleagues to do the same.
