What makes YOU engage with ILTA's
Educational Content?
W
hat makes a webinar, local
meeting, or conference session
interesting enough to attend
online or in person? Is it the
awesome content created by our
ILTA peers? Is it the need to collaborate with those same
wonderful people? Or maybe the content is the last piece
of the puzzle you are trying to solve in your ? There are many reasons WHY
people might choose to attend webinars, local meetings,
and conferences. One idea that keeps rising to the top:
accrediting our content. It's one of the many ways we can
entice someone in the legal community to make an active
choice to engage with our educational content.
The ILTA Education Team along with our many
volunteers are planning HOW we can accredit our
educational content in the continuing education areas
that matter most to our members. It's been an interesting
journey with the first step being to decide which continuing
education credit is a priority for our members? That's a
debate for sure and we need you to help us decide by voting
for the topic or credit YOU need to fulfill your continuing
education credits! A survey link will be coming out soon!!
(To assist our teams in this endeavor, please click this link
to tell us which continuing education credit you would like
to see for ILTA content)
In the meantime, please know that we have amazing
volunteer leaders working on this with us. Volunteers, like
Gwyn McAlpine and Jason Dirkx who are actively working
on a plan for CLE accreditation. Volunteer Stephanie
Clerkin is working with Relativity - we now have RCE
credits on select podcasts and will have select webinars
soon. We are also in the process of adding notices on our
educational content reminding you that it might be eligible
to self-report back to your accrediting organization - like
PMI or CISSP.
