Innovation is all about delighting the
client, whether internal or external. So, it
starts with taking a client's legal challenge
or opportunity, applying existing or
building new technolo, and combining
it with new processes or a whole new
approach to solve that problem or seize
that opportunity for the client. And, if
it exceeds expectations and delights the
client, that is innovation.

To me has very little to do with tech. It's
really about reviewing the processes
involved and talking with the people
involved to understand what they are
doing today and how we might be able to
improve their processes. Sometimes that
might involve a technolo solution, but
only after all of the information has been
gathered and a course set and agreed upon
by all interested parties.

To me, legal tech innovation is about
finding new ways to service the clients
faster, better and more efficiently. It is easy
to use and seamlessly integrates with other
applications and platforms.

To me some of the best legal tech
innovation, are simply small improvements
that make a huge difference for both clients
and lawyers.

Any tool that, if well-adopted, makes legal

To me, innovation always has to be
centered around solving problems. Can't
be tech for tech's sake. Innovation means
solving old problems in new and better
ways and anticipating future problems and
solving them before they arise.
