• The ILTA Board Election process has begun: with voting
planned to open in mid-April 2019. If you're the primary
contact of your organization, keep an eye out for your eballot!
Only member organizations in good standing will have
the opportunity to vote, so make sure your organization's
membership is renewed for the 2019 term!
• ILTA announced openings for various Member Liaison
positions serving across the US, if you haven't volunteered
with us before, this is the perfect opportunity to get your feet
wet! Apply to be a ILTA Volunteer today!
• Near to 150 ILTA Volunteers met at ASCEND in January
2019 in Orlando, FL, USA to discuss the planning and
framework for ILTA's various programs being held
throughout 2019. Thank you to our volunteers for a fun and

• ILTA hosted a successful education track and Social at
LegalTech New York in January 2019, where members
could attend completely free. As has been done in previous
years, we arranged for ILTA members to receive a significant
discount to attend the remainder of the event as well. If you

Content Coordinating Team is addressing this year, ILTA
will be launching industry-specific peer groups for members
to share best practices, ask questions, and network in a
secure environment. Be sure to also join us in Orlando for
ILTACON this year, as the corporate legal department track
will be the most extensive yet!
• Forget Brexit, ILTA UK is gaining momentum! ILTA UK
members Andrew Powell and Tony McKenna facilitated
great panel discussions on Cloud services and the changing
role of the CIO at Legal IT Insider's GlenLegal Conference
earlier this month. Several ILTA members in attendance
were excited to hear about ILTA CEO, Joy Heath Rush's role
and look forward to ILTA Europe's agenda for the upcoming
year. Keep an eye on this space for several opportunities to
