Here are recommended activities. Many take less than five minutes; and you can move at your own pace. I'm a Super Busy ILTAn In less than five minutes, you can ensure ILTA delivers quality content to you and your co- workers. Whitelist ILTA Emails. Add ilta@iltanet. org and connectedcommunity.org to your spam filter whitelist, and encourage your co-workers to do this. Review and Update Your Email Preferences. Log in to ILTA's website and click "My Account Seings" at the boom of the page." Click on "Event Alerts & Magazine Opt In/Out" in the le-hand menu, select "Edit" to update your email subscriptions, and then save your changes. Update Your Company Profile. Are there new employees to add to your ILTA membership, or have employees departed? From ILTA's website, access the Member Directory, search for your organization, and review the people listed. If anything in your organization's profile needs updating, contact onlineservices@iltanet.org with the necessary changes. I Have a Quick Break Take five minutes out of your day to get more involved and more informed. Join an Online Community. To make sure you're staying in-the-know with all the topics that touch on your areas of interest, review ILTA's Communities, and join a new one. (from ILTA's website > Resources > Communities) Spread the Word. Invite your co-workers to create their own ILTA accounts. Tell them to go to ILTA's website, click the Sign In/Register buon, and select the blue "Create Your Own Account" buon. Aend an Event. Review all upcoming events or filter by format and city, and register for an ILTA event that interests you. (from ILTA's website > Live Events) Download the ILTA Connected Community App. Find this in your app store. Connections are at your fingertips! Follow ILTA Blogs. Set up RSS feeds to follow your favorite ILTA bloggers. From ILTA's website, log in, go to your profile and select RSS Feeds under the My Account tab. Click on the Blogs tab and select your favorite blog authors. Don't forget to save your changes. Share an Idea. We're always looking for topic suggestions, and you can submit one by clicking the lightbulb at the top of ILTA's website. Time Is on My Side ILTA has so many networking and learning opportunities, many of which can be done at your own pace. Share Your Expertise. Your fellow peers search the Member Directory for experts, but they won't find you if your profile isn't updated. Tip: Import your LinkedIn profile for faster updating. (log in to ILTA's website > Profile) Read an Article (or Five). ILTA publishes award-winning magazines, digital white papers and surveys. Access them all at www.iltanet.org/pubs. Access a Recording. Did you miss a webinar? Don't worry, ILTA recorded it. Browse all recordings or use filters. (from ILTA's website > Resources > Recordings) Volunteer. ILTA's wonderful volunteers drive the valuable content members experience. Want to help? Review our volunteer opportunities online.
