"The Age of Spiritual Machines: When Computers Exceed Human Intelligence" and "The Singularity Is Near: When Humans Transcend Biology" by Ray Kurzweil These books give us a glimpse of what the future may hold. They are thought-provoking and make for interesting reading, particularly for those of us who have been watching technology evolve over the course of long careers. — Larry Liss, Blank Rome LLP "The Go Giver" and "The Art of Persuasion: Winning Without Intimidation" by Bob Burg These are two great books by the same author. In "The Go Giver," Burg explores how your true worth is based on how much more value you give than payment you take. In "The Art of Persuasion," he discusses the art of geing what you want, when you want it. The lessons from both books apply in life and in business. — Rengie Mendoza, Loeb & Loeb LLP "The Big Switch: Rewiring the World, from Edison to Google" by Nicholas Carr "The Big Switch" explains how cloud computing is changing the way we do business. The author makes a comparison between this and how electrical distribution networks affect the world. He also tells the interesting startup tales of two of the most innovative companies in the world: GE and IBM. — Eduardo J. Snape A., Galindo, Arias & López What does an ILTACON Co-Chair do?
