Steve Odum, ILTA's Strategic Relationship Liaison for Aderant, chats with Ian D. Oxman, Vice President of Marketing to learn more about Aderant. What new tools/upgrades are on the horizon that would benefit ILTA members? Aderant recently introduced our new matter management product, MatterWorks, designed not just for Aderant Expert users but also for uses of Elite Enterprise. At ILTACON 2015, Aderant introduced our next generation business intelligence (BI) product called Spotlight Analytics. Spotlight is the result of combining the best of Redwood Analytics with Aderant Clearview into the most action-oriented and user-friendly BI product in the legal profession. What one or two facts about Aderant are most important for ILTA members to know? Our "better together" philosophy reminds me of two facts: 1. Aderant is the only legal software company to provide a broad and integrated product set; a product set that works better together. Aderant provides software for time and billing, financial management, matter management and business analytics, and all are integrated around common platform architecture. Products designed "better together" enable faster implementation, easier support and streamlined upgrades. 2. Aderant possesses the largest staff of legal technology veterans. For example, our support team averages over 8.5 years of tenure with Aderant. More important, we place our experts in the field to work directly with clients. Our product managers spend over 25 percent of their hours with clients every week. Our clients realize better benefits from products designed together by professionals who work with the tools. How does Aderant partner with ILTA to help us meet members' growing needs? Aderant has enjoyed and benefited from a close working relationship with ILTA for decades. We have partnered on thought leadership: As members may have seen a few months ago, we released an article with ILTA about the changing nature of the client- attorney relationship. The value of ILTA for Aderant goes far beyond a means to reach legal technology professionals. Aderant values ILTA for the ability to connect in forums, hold discussions and learn from ILTA members.
