While most ILTA members are likely to be familiar with InterAction, the law firm CRM solution, today the technology division includes law firm practice management solutions, litigation tools and managed services. Specifically, this means products ranging from Time Matters, Juris and InterAction to products that support the e-discovery life cycle, including Early Data Analyzer, LAW Pre-Discovery, Concordance, Concordance Evolution and CaseMap. On the corporate side, CounselLink, which now processes billions in legal invoices, provides matter management, legal spend management and analytics to corporate legal departments. Spotlight on Strategic Relationships ILTA's Strategic Relationship Program recognizes the importance of key relationships and creates opportunities for meaningful dialogs to support educational programming, to provide member feedback that informs future product/service development and to ensure ILTA's involvement in standard- setting initiatives. Pat Purdy, ILTA's Strategic Relationship Liaison for Lexis Nexis, recently spoke with Jonah Paransky, Vice President and Managing Director of Product Management for the LexisNexis Business of Law Software Solutions. Here they reflect on how LexisNexis continues to expand on and improve ILTA member services and benefits through our strategic relationship. 25 What can we expect from LexisNexis in the next year? We aim to deliver an acceleration of innovation: making tools easier to use, requiring less training, investing in fixing the small things that users find frustrating and improving the experience for all customers across the product portfolio. It's premature to go into any product details while we are still baking, but over the next 12-18 months, the ILTA community will be pleasantly surprised. What one or two facts are most important for ILTA members to know about LexisNexis? We have a broad and deep portfolio of solutions that can provide benefits to many ILTA members. With so many choices, sometimes those solutions are lost in the shuffle, and customers of one product might not realize we have a tool that solves another problem — and that the two might work well together. We are also committed to investing in legal technology; it is critical to our path forward. How does LexisNexis partner with ILTA to help us meet members' growing needs? LexisNexis views ILTA as an important part of our overall relationship with the legal community. ILTA helps us with research — the technology survey, for example — and with improving user experience. In many cases, we are rolling out software updates every two weeks and getting feedback from ILTA users, which is incredibly valuable.
