K2docXssentials was designed specifically for the legal segment of 100 users or less and is a plug-and-play product. Litéra Corp also markets Metadact, a desktop-based metadata cleansing solution. www.Litera.com Microsystems announced the acquisition of certain key assets related to the 3BClean product from 3BView Limited. Microsystems 3BClean customers will benefit from a single platform for end-to-end metadata detection and removal, including desktop, mobile and batch-processing capabilities. Firms that licensed 3BClean directly from 3BView can receive upgrades, support and product enhancements in line with their original investment by transferring their license and support agreements to Microsystems. www.microsystems.com Nextpoint, Inc. announced the release of single PDF export of multiple documents in Cloud Preservation, the company's Web and social media archiving service. This latest release enhances existing robust export functionality which includes meta-data, original source files, and search text. Nextpoint's Cloud Preservation service is an immediate, on-demand solution that allows users to securely preserve multimedia content from social networking sites, blogs and public-facing websites. www.nextpoint.com Open Text announced that it has released Legal Content Management (LCM) for Microsoft SharePoint designed for small to mid-size law firms and corporate legal departments currently using or planning to use Microsoft SharePoint 2010. LCM combines OpenText s specialized legal industry expertise in matter life cycle management and proactive compliance with the usability, collaboration and document management capabilities of Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and Microsoft Office 2010. www.opentext.com RainMaker Software announced the upcoming release of KPI Xpress. KPI Xpress, a Microsoft SharePoint-based product, provides law firms with real-time data that monitors financial performance against firm goals with an easy-to-view dashboard. The software prescreens law firm invoices and flags entries that don't comply with client guidelines, so firms can streamline and improve e-billing processes.
