PEER TO PEER: THE QUARTERLY MAGA ZINE OF ILTA 38 Whatcha Readin'? The ILTA community is filled with avid readers, and here are some of their recent recommendations. This was the author's first novel, published in 1973. "The Friends" is a classic Boston tale about a small-time hood running out of people to trust and jobs to pull. It captures the personalities, accents and grittiness of my native Boston at the time. Chris Romano of Ward and Smith, P.A. In this book, a videogame magnate uses software from the games his company created to develop an artificial intelligence that plays havoc with the digital world after the magnate's death. A very interesting read. Nate Smith of Hopkins & Huebner, P.C. Written by an IT guru, this story features an oddly charming, socially challenged genetics professor, Don, as he seeks true love. I read a lot, and this is one of the best books I have read in a long time! Henry Chace of Burns & Levinson, LLP This book defies categorization. It's a business book. It's a psychology book. It's a management and marketing book. It allows us to peer into our unconscious habits, unearthing the reasons we do what we do (both good and bad) and how to change bad habits to good ones. Duhigg makes this a fantastic and fun read by populating this best-seller book with tons of anecdotes and stories that provide broad appeal for any reader. Scott Christensen of Edwards Wildman Palmer LLP THE ROSIE PROJECT by Graeme Simsion THE FRIENDS OF EDDIE COYLE by George Higgins DAEMON by Daniel Suarez THE POWER OF HABIT: WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO IN LIFE AND BUSINESS by Charles Duhigg Save the date for the 2015 LEGALTECH Asia Technology Summit 2 MARCH 2015 JW MARRIOTT HONG KONG AND JOIN US FOR AN ILTA EVENT AFTER THE SUMMIT ON 3 MARCH.
