EXPERIENCE MATTERS AT DECHERT
Experience
Matters
at Dechert

It is summer: a season often associated with a
plethora of appealing characterizations, several
beginning with the letter "r" (relaxation, recreation
and respite, to name a few). Here at Dechert,
we are thinking about another "r" word: rollout.
This word holds particular significance for several
administrative groups at the firm as we embark on
the rollout of DechertEXP (EXP) to marketing and
practice group personnel, and, shortly thereafter, to
our attorney population. The prototype for EXP —
Dechert's branded, homegrown attorney experience
application — is now developed enough for people
to see first-hand how it can work for them.
Flashback to 2011, when it became abundantly clear
that Dechert, like many firms, needed a centralized
repository of attorney experience, which would
meet both external and internal objectives. In an
increasingly competitive legal market, this need
to harness experience more effectively required
significant attention, immediate project planning
and dedicated resources.
