Jim is the ILTA Manager of Partner Development, and is an all-around staff go-get 'em guy! You can reach him directly at jperrus@iltanet.org if you have any questions! ILTA will be celebrating its 40th anniversary at ILTACON 2021 in Las Vegas! I have been involved in the association world for over 24 years and have been privileged to have been a part of ILTA for the past three years. As Manager, Partner Development, my main role is to provide business partners opportunities to reach ILTA members. I do not consider myself a typical salesperson (like Herb Tarlek from WKRP in Cincinnati fame) but more of a consultant/networker. The best thing about my job was visiting with the business partners at trade shows, at their office or over cocktails and Greek food. Making that personal connection brings trust on both sides. Unfortunately, that came to a screeching halt in March. Like most of us, I've had to pivot with Zoom calls and Happy Hours! And now business partners can see my home office decorated with pictures of my two girls, my amazing wife, and of course a picture of me and the Stanley Cup. Look forward to seeing you one again in-person in Chicago, Las Vegas, London or at a trade show in your area!
