But the creation of a multitude of digital, data-driven, tech-enabled tools and processes hasn't solved the problem of creating order from the chaos of data. Evolution does not equal adoption, and with more cases, more data, more technolo, and sweeping regulatory change: all create a continuously morphing cluster of problems conspiring to keep legal and compliance teams awake at night. And then came COVID-19, bringing with it an entirely new layer of complexity in compliance and data privacy that the world has never experienced. Data privacy risks are exponentially increased now due to the onslaught of new privacy laws and an abruptly assembled remote workforce. In this environment, creating order from the chaos of data is critical, and there is no out- of-a-box solution when every situation brings a nuanced complexity requiring a specific outcome.
