One of the key benefits of ILTA, to me and other professionals, is the ability to observe industry trends in litigation support practice and technologies. This information shapes my discussions both within my firm and across professional organizations. As an industry we continue to develop new skills and address new challenges while maintaining the highest level of services to our case team, legal departments and law firms. The ILTA Litigation Support survey can be an invaluable tool to monitor and communicate the industries state-of-the-state. Interesting responses from the 2018 Survey include: Office 365 continues to be a primary influencer in litigation support. A multitude of the responses are impacted by the use of managed services and hybrid managed services offerings utilized by members. Computer forensics continues to be an outlier to litigation support with continued outsourcing of those services along with a decrease in the value of relevant certifications for law firm / legal department staff. 1 2 3 B Y C I N DY M A C B E A N 2018 Litigation and Practice Support Survey Results
